I was born in Lincoln, UK, but spent the majority of my life in Northumberland. After leaving Newcastle University with a shiny new English Literature degree, I moved around Cyprus and the USA. During this time I worked as a graphic designer, freelance cartoonist for the Cyprus Lion newspaper, and as writer and illustrator for the webcomic Muse Academy. In 2013, I returned to the UK to throw myself fully into writing. I have an MA in Creative Writing, am a member of SCBWI British Isles, and live in a seaside town in the North with my family, two Cypriot rescue dogs, and a tortoiseshell cat with an inbuilt smirk. |
